Maui and the Hawaii Islands have been my home for over 40 years. I love living on a beautiful island that is culturally rich and diverse. As well, the natural splendor of Maui offers so much to explore from the majestic mountains to the the bountiful ocean.
Being an active person who likes to explore, I enjoy hiking, swimming and paddling.
To feed my creative side, I dream art and put my inspiration to practice as a print-maker. I also am a museum curator designing and creating exhibits for our little Makawao Museum.
Real Estate is another passion. Matching folks with the perfect property, or helping somebody to make their home attractive and market ready is a win win .
Environmental issues, protecting our fragile eco system through awareness, volunteer work and personal recycle and re-use programs are also very important to me .
A Sense of Place comes through knowledge of the local history. Purchasing a 1924 house has been a challenging journey, and historic preservation is truly a humbling experience.
My bungalow had elegant bones but needed much TLC. It's a continuous labor of love, and seeing the inner beauty shine in my quirky home is very satisfying.
Having Grown up in Berkeley, Ca I was also exposed to great diversity. My family participated in foreign exchange programs and we always shared our home with visiting students from abroad.
Owning a Bed and Breakfast where a wide variety of people gather is a natural for me. I do enjoy meeting people as everyone has their unique story.
I can honestly say, that my Guests and Maui, are No Ka Oi ( the Best).
